In this New York Times article, Nina Bernstein discusses a problem currently facing Haitians who were brought to safety outside their home country after the January earthquake. Some of these people are now being detained or even jailed for not having U.S. Visas, even though U.S. Marines were the ones who brought them to the country in the first place.
